Grasshoppers come in varies sizes and colors. The picture at the left depicts a green grasshopper in the middle of three surrounding leaves. This grasshopper may not be seen easily because of its ability to camouflage itself. The grasshopper is able to hide in leaves from predators, which helps them survive. If they aren't eaten they are able to live on and produce offspring.
