Back to Cassie and Caroline

Katydids are rather small insects that tend to resemble the leaves which they rest upon. Because they blend so well with the leaves they tend to rest on, it is less likely that a predator will find and eat them. Katydids have a great type of camouflage; blending in with your habitat is a great way to ensure procreation!
