A
Quarantine

Quarantine is when a person, plant or animal carrying a contagious disease is placed in isolation, which means that they are kept away from anybody else. This way, the disease hopefully will not spread any further. Insects, however, are usually the ones that carry the disease or transfer the disease to humans. The most recent disease carried by insects is the West Nile Virus, which is passed to humans by mosquitoes.
