Quick-Flowing Streams

Q is for quick-flowing stream. In the mountains there are a number of small streams where insects make there home. Streams provide insects with food, safety, and a place to live. Aquatic insects, like stoneflies, caddisflies, and Elmid beetles, all rely on quick-flowing streams as a place to live. The aqautic life is essential for reproduction, as well as many other things. The healty and clean streams provide many insects with an admirable place to live.
