B is for Blue Darner Dragonfly

Dragonflies can live almost anywhere in Colorado, even in the high peaks of the Rockies. Dragonflies are most active during the summer and can be found near bodies of water throughout the Rocky Mountains. One can find them easiest early in the day when temperatures are cooler. If you are lucky enough to spot one, it would mostl likely be on plant life. Dragonflies are predators and they mostly feed on mosquitos.
