The whitefly is a greenhouse pest but he can also be a problem to crops in the field. He takes up residence on the underside of leaves and sucks the juice out of them. You may never know that he is there since he is so small and hides from view. He can also produces honeydew, which can interfere with photosynthesis and can cause the plant to stop growing. |
