A
Palm Weevil Larva

Palm Weevil Grubs are collected from the trunks of palm trees. They are fried in a pot or frying pan. The mature larvae are fleshy and grub like with a high fat content.

The Palm Weevil Larva can be up to four inches long and more than two inches wide, and will spend anywhere from three to nine years hidden within the trunk of a palm tree, chewing miles of tunnel from the woody inside.
