A
Army Worm

Army worms are used in a winery in Duluth, Minnesota to make a special type of army worm wine.

There are several types of army worms sometimes named after the type of plant that they feed on like the beet armyworm.

Female moths lay hundreds of eggs on the leaves of plants and trees. The larvae (Army worms) can be pests as they grow to their second and final molts. They come in armies and eat 80-90% of the plant matter in an area.
