This is a group of flies that closely resembles a wasp but it lacks many things of a wasp such as a stinger. Some people deducted that those insects that look like bees and wasps lay their eggs in thier habitat for protection and further more in some cases, they parasite them. However this isn't the case with the Volucella. They are actually housecleaners. |
