Y is for... Yellow Jackets

Yellow jackets are a wasplike insect, varying in size,

They guard their nests and if tampered with, there will be a rise.

These nests are hidden under logs or a rock wall,

Sometimes they use empty nests if a mouse doesn't live there at all.
