Golden tortosie beetle
The golden tortosie beetle got its because of its shiny gold color, however, it doen't always stay the same shiny shade of gold. If the golden tortosie beetle senses it's in damger it will quickly change its color. The beetle will change its color so it can blend in better with its surroundings and hide from the danger. The beetle changes its color by altering the water content of its cuticle.
