Chicken Louse
These lice are wingless and flat. They have two sharp claws that they use to scratch the surface of the chicken for food. They enjoy feeding on the chicken's dry skin, feathers, and scabs. During a study on chicken lice, it was reported that over 35,000 lice were found on one chicken!
