U is for... Urbanus Tanna

urbanas
At a first glance, many people may think the tanna is a moth. However, the tanna is a skipper butterfly. The insect is commonly called the tanna longtail. This species of butterfly has a 3.3 - 3.8 cm wing span. Not all butterflies are colorful, just like not all moths lack color. Moths have feathery antennae to sense the activities of an environment. Butterflies have long club-like antennae.
