This pretty little damselfly is the Violet Tail, or Violet Dancer, And they are found in the U.S. and Southern Canada. Their habitat is along slow streams, coves of large fast rivers, And even shallow weedy lakes, where aquatic insects can be found. The adults eat small soft-bodies insects for dinner, While the naiads (their young) eat aquatic insects. |
