This Tarantula Hawk was photographed while stalking its prey, The adults feed on nectar, but the spiders are needed to feed the larvae. The Tarantula Hawk feeds its young like the Blue-black Spider Wasp, Except the Tarantula Hawk mostly feeds tarantulas to their young. They are considered primarily tropical insects, And they live on dry hillsides and arid plains.
