W is for... Water

As most of you already know, water is the breeding ground for mosquitoes. Still or stagnant water is a particularly good enviorment for mosquito larvae to live in. Marshes and stagnant pools provide excellent habitat for mosquitoes and as a result often have (or had) high rates of insect borne diseases occur around them.
