E is for... Ectoparasite

The ectoparasite is a parasite that lives outside of the body. They move from host to host feeding and laying eggs. Since they travel from one host to another, they have a tendency to transfer diseases. Ectoparasites can carry endoparasites (parasites that live inside the body) from one host to another.
