B is for... Bean Leaf Beetles

Bean leaf beetles come in red, yellow, green, tan and brown varieties. They are one fifth to one fourth of an inch in length. The bean leaf beetle has two spots on the inner wing margins and a black border around the elytra, or the wing covers. They are very dangerous to farmer's fields because they feed on soybean leaves, blossoms, pods and stems.
