Curriculum

The biochemistry and molecular biology major is comprised of courses from the departments of biology and chemistry, with emphasis on cellular biology, genetics, and biochemistry, and laboratory techniques in these areas. In addition, BMB majors complete a capstone course, BMB 485, in which they conduct and present independent research, often in conjunction with ongoing departmental research projects led by faculty in biology or chemistry.
