First Session: 3-4:30 p.m. Jane Fortson, PhD, is a Becker Center Fellow in Price Theory at the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago. Fortson received a MA in Economics in 2005 and a PhD in Economics in 2007 from Princeton University. Her fields of interest include Development Economics, Health Economics, Public Economics, and Labor Economics. She has done much research on the economic impact of AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa. She has made presentations at the XVII International AIDS Conference and the World Bank. |

Second Session: 7-8:30 p.m. Erica Field, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Harvard University. Field received a MA in Economics in 2000 and a PhD in Economics in 2003 from Princeton University. Her fields of interest include Development Economics, Labor Economics, Economic Demography and Health. She has authored papers examining property rights, family law and reproductive issues. |
