Cornell "going green" with paperless media guides

MOUNT VERNON - Joining a rapid trend of colleges and universities across the country, Cornell College is eliminating traditional print versions of media guides in favor of online versions.

All Cornell media guides will be available as a PDF file on the athletics web site www.cornellcollege.edu/athletics.

Factors contributing to the decision included growth in the popularity of online resources, the desire to be more environmentally responsible and cost savings.

Cornell offers 19 NCAA Division III intercollegiate sports. For several years, the athletics department printed media guides for football, volleyball, wrestling, men's basketball, women's basketball, softball and baseball.
