Grant Wood gave his first lecture at Cornell, later becoming famous after an interview in Time Magazine. Time founder Henry Luce's foundation, the Luce Foundation, gives Cornell $1 million to fund and endow the Peter Paul Luce Gallery in honor of Peter, a life trustee.
