Memorial Trees & Landscaping

In order to preserve the park-like beauty of campus, it is college policy to not tag or put signage of any kind on or near trees that have been planted in honorarium or memorium. In exchange, the College provides this online map to serve as a permanent record and tribute to those honored. A full scale map is also displayed prominently in The Commons thanks to a generous gift from the class of 2003.

	In memory of Mackenzie Webb '00 Aug. 24, 1978 - June 21, 1998 given by the College Mackenzie died June 21, 1998 in the University of Iowa Hospital. Mackenzie was a first year student from Nauvoo, IL, who had leukemia. Location: Just south of the sidewalk that connects Bowman-Carter Hall to King Chapel and east of the Martin Luther King tree.
