Cornell alumni and friends are invited to a reception Friday, March 6, after the second round of the NCAA Div. III Wrestling Championship in Ballroom I of the Crowne Plaza Hotel.  Hear from Athletic Director John Cochrane and visit with fans of all ages.

Denver area alumni - it's time for the Annual Cornell Ski Day at Copper Mountain!  Join the Cornell College Club of Colorado on Saturday, March 7 for a day on the slopes.  Meet at 8:30 a.m. for skiing, then gather for an After-Ski hors d'oeuvres and cash bar.

Alumni Awards Announced

Several alumni awards were presented at the Homecoming Convocation on Saturday, October 11 in King Chapel.  Emeritus Professor of Politics Representative David Loebsack became an honorary alum, Jason Kolowski '98 was awarded the Young Alumni Award, and Gib Drendel '58 was honored with a Leadership & Service Award for his 25 years as Class Agent.  The Honorable Aleta Grillos Trauger '68 was given the Distinguished Achievement Award and an Honorary Doctorate was conferred upon Emeritus Professor of Geology Herbert Hendriks '40.
